Watching

Currently rotating through about 8 anime at once (as usual). The active list:

  • ongoing One Piece — always. Forever. The show that refuses to let me go.
  • ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen — caught up. Gojo discourse is exhausting but the show is not.
  • ongoing MF Ghost — if Initial D and my PS5 racing addiction had a baby.
  • rewatch Frieren: Beyond Journey's End — rewatching slowly. Hits harder the second time. Himmel, man.
  • ongoing Bleach: TYBW — they finally did it justice. Bankai.

All watched without subtitles. I think in Japanese sometimes and I can't fully explain that either.

Listening

The rotation hasn't changed much since I was 15, honestly. Linkin Park is still the core. Always will be.

  • forever Linkin Park — went to two shows in two cities in 48 hours. Flew out the same night after the first one. Carried a stranger out of a mosh pit between them. Writing that post next.
  • heavy Imagine Dragons — Natural, Believer, Radioactive on repeat during work sprints.
  • mood Japanese OSTs — anime openings and endings hit different at 2 AM. Unravel. Blue Bird. Shinzou wo Sasageyo.
  • drives Bollywood romantic — the long-drive-with-friends soundtrack. Tum Hi Ho energy.

Playing

PS5. Completionist. Every open-world game I start, I finish. No exceptions.

  • Gran Turismo 7 — pure racing, pure zen. MF Ghost made it worse.
  • Cyberpunk 2077 — came for Edgerunners, stayed for Night City.

Building

Currently working on this site (starfield, easter eggs, the whole rabbit hole) and a gamified coaching app for myself. Most of the interesting stuff I've built is work — ad copy systems, content pipelines, a knowledge graph. I wrote about all of it on the builds page.

Working

Strategy at a managed living company in India. Most of the stuff above is work I built because the team is small and the problem isn't. Before this, a data startup for about 3 years.

Thinking About

Japan. Haven't been yet. It's the dream. Thousands of hours of the language absorbed through anime and I've never set foot there. That feels wrong. Fixing it soon.

What I want to do next. Figuring it out. Slowly and then all at once, probably.

This page updates when my life does. Which is either every week or every three months. You know how it is.
